I thought this would be a great replacement for my son's gaming desk, which was sadly lost in the recent California fires. It looked very similar to his previous desk, which was bought on Wayfair, but was no longer available. Unfortunately, as I started putting this desk together, I could tell it was not nearly as nice a desk. The build quality is severely lacking. The legs and table top are too thin. To build the table, you have to screw together many small pieces of metal. Having so many joining pieces makes building the table a pain, and creates too many potential failure points. I knew as I was building the table that it made no sense, but I continued till the end, hoping it would all come together in a solid way. Once finished, which took over an hour, I instantly knew I had to return it. The table is wobbly, and feels week. The table top flexes too much, because it is thin. This design clearly prioritized minimal shipping size for cost savings, over a functional design. I ended up getting a gaming table from a big box retailer, which was heavy, solid, and took much less time to put together. This was the first piece of furniture I've ever had to return to Wayfair.
