We’ve had this vanity for a year now and my 8 year old daughter uses it daily. It’s easy to clean (which is great when you have a younger child experimenting with make up) and is sturdy. The light on the mirror has multiple settings which is great when applying make up. I often find myself using this vanity when getting ready as I like the lighting better than my bathroom. The size is perfect for a young girl and teenager. It’s decent for an adult as well, but maybe a little small if you have more skin care and make up that you want to store in the vanity. It would be best if the company would figure out a new way to ship the seat so that it doesn’t get pinchedmishapen. The tiny screws were a bear to screw into the wood. Small, predrilled holes would have been a great touch. Overall, the vanity looks nice assembled and my daughter likes it, but certainly some room for improvement with shipping and ease of assembly.. The vanity itself is good. It wasn’t hard to assemble. The negative issue is that all the listing pictures show a stool but it didn’t come with a stool. Now I have to find one. I was nervous at first that it may have been damaged during shipment because the outside of the box had several tears, but there was thick foam in the package to protect all the parts, especially the mirror! Every single part was clearly labeled which took the guess work out of assembly. Other reviews had noted a long build time which I found to be true. Give yourself about 10-12 hours. I invested an extra hour to apply a thin white contact paper to each drawer base before assembly to protect it from any makeup spills. It took close to five hours to put together... but I thoroughly read the directions before starting, then didn't rush. Took about four times stopping and starting... First run was 2.5 hours, then shorter spurts with a 10 y/o "helping". It was not difficult to put together; the directions were actually very good. We have two pieces with cracks, but they seemed superficial and surface-level. One edge on the back was not trimmed to slide the backing in - had to take a knife to the plastic trim blocking the groove. The lights around the mirror have three color tones, plus you can adjust brightness. My daughter also loves the LED strip inside the glass top.
