Originally came with broken pieces in the shipment. The company resent the defective pieces at no charge. The padded seat was worse the second time, but I’ll just reupholster it myself instead of requesting a 3rd one. It would be best if the company would figure out a new way to ship the seat so that it doesn’t get pinchedmishapen. The tiny screws were a bear to screw into the wood. Small, predrilled holes would have been a great touch. Overall, the vanity looks nice assembled and my daughter likes it, but certainly some room for improvement with shipping and ease of assembly.. It took close to five hours to put together... but I thoroughly read the directions before starting, then didn't rush. Took about four times stopping and starting... First run was 2.5 hours, then shorter spurts with a 10 y/o "helping". It was not difficult to put together; the directions were actually very good. We have two pieces with cracks, but they seemed superficial and surface-level. One edge on the back was not trimmed to slide the backing in - had to take a knife to the plastic trim blocking the groove. The lights around the mirror have three color tones, plus you can adjust brightness. My daughter also loves the LED strip inside the glass top. I am loving this vanity, it was fairly easy to build and assemble it myself even though two people are recommended in the instructions. With a power drill it took about 2 or two and a half hours to assemble solo. The only hiccup I has was that there may be a slight error in the directions for the drawer slider assembly but it only took about three minutes to fix that afterwards. The color is a pure white and the overall build seems super sturdy. The lights cycle through cool, warm, and neutral colors. The lights can also dim and brighten. I had been checking the website regularly because this vanity was backordered with a 5–6 week shipping estimate. There are plenty of similar vanities out there, but I specifically wanted this one because of the sliding side storage. As soon as it came back in stock, I ordered it. If you see it available, I’d recommend grabbing it—it seems to sell out often. The storage is excellent, especially for taller bottles, brushes, and combs, which is surprisingly hard to find in a compact vanity. It is definitely on the smaller side. I’m 5’5”, and It’s definitely on the smaller side. I’m 5’5”, and I can’t really sit on the stool facing the mirror comfortably.
