The mattress is very firm and comfortable, it’s thinner than I expected, but it’s thick enough for me to sleep comfortably more or less what I expected.The package came from Jacksonville and I’m in South Florida. About five minutes into putting this mattress protector on the bed my toddler split food on it. Thankfully, it wiped off easily with no damage to the mattress below. I don’t know how clear it is from the photo, but the sides are mesh- making it perfect for toddler jumps. As for the sound, it’s minimal.
