UPDATE Fan is now installed on the ceiling. Looks very nice, but power is not yet hooked up to it so I have not yet been able to run it or turn the light on. Will add a photo and update review once power is hooked up. As you can see by the photo, I do not yet have the fan installed but will add an update photo and an updated review in a few days when my contractor has installed it. The fan appears well made fan blades are actual real, solid wood and are very nice quality - no painted fake finish here. The surround that covers the motor is metal and nicely made. It fits flush against the ceiling. The fan also comes with a remote that controls both the fan and the LED light and you can change the color tone and brightness of the light. So I am looking forward to getting this light installed and will update my review then with new pictures and feedback on the fan operation. I think it’s going to look beautiful in my bedroom!. Not much I can say other than it looks like a quality fan. It arrived with all the parts loose in the box, the remote missing and scratches on the motor housing and blades from the parts bouncing around. The box only had a slight dent in it so I would imagine it was a return that wasn't fully checked out before restocking. I like the fan so I'll try again with another order.. James. IL. This was the finishing touch on the guest room remodel, a fresh coat of paint and this low profile fan make the room feel bigger. We absolutely love this ceiling fan! The fan runs very quietly, even on higher speeds, and provides great airflow for the space. The remote allows you to change speed or direction and set for certain time frames. Installation was straightforward, and everything feels sturdy and well-made once in place. Overall, this fan feels like a high-end piece at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something functional that also elevates the look of your room! The only negative is the harsh LED light.
