the bed is so gorgeous!!! it only has 4 wood pieces, so a box spring is definitely recommended because if not, just placing the mattress on top of the wood boards, your mattress will start sinking in between them. other than that only issue the bed itself I’d give it a sign out of 10 it is very sturdy and definitely comfortable to sleep on and adds an aesthetic to your room!!.
