This is an excellent small dining table. It came unfinished which was perfect for us. We used “chalk” paint for the black sections and the wood took the paint well. We finished the top with 7 or so treatments of Tung Oil (almost a full pint). The wood just kept soaking up the oil. The finished look is exactly what we were hoping for.
