These & Prestige Cat trees are my go-to brands. They are sturdy and don't take all day to put together. This one comes in two pieces. Unbox it on the porch and bring in each piece because they can be heavy. When they scratch out the carpet on the legs, you can replace with warehouse purchased sissal rope. I wish the company used sissal but that would probably increase the cost of mfg. The carpet is cleanable incase anyone up-chucks on it. Use an enzym cleaner and sun-dry it. The goal for us is to reduce the landfill waste with the cheap trees that last less than a year.. Elizabeth. Burke, VA. Thu Oct 29 2026

While this is marketed for large cats it is not heavy or substantial enough to support the weight of a large cat. In addition the middle part, the "Cave" or sleeping hide, is not included in what is shipped to the customer. The scratching post is so tiny it would be suitable more for a kitten than a cat. Wayfair made the return process very easy.. Tania. Tallahassee, FL. Tue Sep 15 2026
