This is very well made and heavy (cast iron?). I'm giving 4 stars because I bought this door knocker to use as a door knocker, but it arrived without holes to mount ( 'holes' are filled-in with cast iron ), so I couldn't mount my door knocker as a door knocker, so I repurposed my door knocker into a door stop and I'm very happy now with my new door stop... that can also be used as a floor knocker (if I had downstairs neighbors, it would be a fun way to annoy them).. The item that arrived is not the same pictured. The product photo looks to me like a cat or monkey maybe, but what arrived was a dog. Wayfair did try to fix the error and sent a replacement, but it was the same dog. I think Wayfair should update this photo to reflect the actual product. I should mention though that the quality of the knocker is excellent!. Kim. ON. Fri Nov 08 2019
