Both sides of the boards are textured, and it's worth noting that knots are visible on unfinished boards and may be slightly visible on painted ones. Please be aware that matching rustic trim boards are sold separately, and these shiplap boards are not suitable for outdoor applications. Very impressed! These shiplap panels are great quality, real wood. Super easy to install, but I will caution, make sure it’s where you want it because the adhesive strips are no joke. I was thinking I maybe needed to reinforce with nails, but when I ripped the coating off the Sheetrock, I figured it was fine. lol they look amazing and I like that they are thinner than traditional shiplap.
