These pads are a sure cure for anything my yorkie can drop onto my very light blue carpet. They work on new spots as well as some older spots that did not shampoo very well. I have a liquid shampoo and shampooer, especially for dogs. but these pads give immediate help for cleaning. Using my shampooer, means I must set it up and mix the cleaning liquid. After which I must clean the machine and put it away after it gets dry. The pad packaging rips open and I step on them with my shoe and leave it for as long as I choose.
