We needed a new chair for our office and this was a great find. Overall, the chair is a beautiful color, sturdy, and functional. However, a major flaw was in the assembly. When it was time to connect the arms to the back of the chair, it was impossible to screw in all of the screws. Each arm has 2 holes that connect to the back of the chair for support. In one of my pictures, I highlighted the obstructions in the holes. I’m guessing whoever designed this thought this was a good way to keep the screws in place when all it did was prevent the top screws from going in altogether. Luckily, the bottom screws were tight enough and when you add the base, it secured the chair. So mine is put together with only half the screws needed for the arms.. Alexandria. Auburn, AL. This chair arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. The directions were clear and easy to follow. The seat is black faux leather and not real leather. It says the frame is wood, but it is shiny like a laminate. Maybe it is just a coating they put on it. It seems to be comfortable and can adjust up or down and also tilt.
