This is a beautiful area rug. The colors are gorgeous and vibrant. It is also multi color but is still neutral. It goes well with my decor and most likely lots of other decors as well. It has a fairly heavy rubber backing so it will not slip. In fact, it sticks pretty firmly to hardwoods and will not slip, no need for a rug pad. I have some new very light color furniture, and this area rug seems to bring it all together. I love this rug. BTW, I find that and electric broom with the roller brush works best on this type of area rug. It keeps it looking fresh and bright all the time.
