This manufacturer takes classic beauty outside of the home with the launch of their Collection. Made in Turkey with enhanced polypropylene for extra durability, these rugs are suitable for anywhere inside or outside of the house. To achieve more intricate and elaborate details in the designs, they used a specially-developed sisal weave.
So, I gave this 5 stars because it is a PERFECT rug for the foyer area to catch all the small dirt particles that make it through the front door! The pattern is really lovely, too. Its got a black border, then enters the pattern of light cream black, that woven together, almost makes the black part of the pattern look dark brown...which is fine by me, as I have dark brown wooden floors.
Now, heres the one Con the ends of the rug are tucked under about an inch and glued. No problem. However, where the black border starts (on the short side of each end of the rug) it had a cream stripe running all the way across, about an 18 to 14 wide. It looked like a thin diagonal stripe two feet wide! Very distracting to me. So, I took a fresh black Sharpie permanent marker and colored in the thin cream stripe. It blended great! Distracting problem solved!
I looked for a rug like this for a long time. The only thing it didnt have that I wanted in a rug was a some sort of fringe. So, to dress it up a little more, this DYI-er applied a fringe with small 5 black silk tassels. Looks amazing now and looks a lot more expensive than the great price I paid at Wayfair! SUPER HAPPY!!.
