These stairs are amazing. I have bought foam stairs before they were as sturdy. Then I bought these for my bed since it’s a bit higher than most. Very sturdy and firm. Has inserts for the steps to make them more stable for the dog. Highly recommend! Recommended for dogs and a creative twist I purchased these after searching for wheelchair ramps to load my disabled mother‘s electric wheelchair into my Ford Maverick’s truck bed, when I take her to the doctor. The other ramps were so expensive and heavier than I could lift, and using these two dog ramps side-by-side allows me to turn on my mother‘s wheelchair, running on battery, and gently roll it up. The wheelchair is about 50 pounds. I have done animal rescue lifelong, and I had a similar ramp that was the favorite one for my dogs. I’d given it away because I now need to take care of my mom and can leave home again. This is an excellent product because it’s lightweight and folds well, and it closes secured with a side clip, and also has the straps to carry it. It’s not heavy duty, but it will do the job. I used the ramp similar to this to allow my older dogs to climb into the truck’s backseat, and it was their favorite. I ended up putting a couple of stair treads in the center just to soften it for their feet. I also added a hard sports foam that fit the floor behind the passenger seat because their age welcomed less climbing. Based on my experience and needs, I highly recommend this dog ramp.. Susan.
