The great thing about art is that inspiration can be found everywhere. In a recent visit to London, the beautiful tile work in the Hyde Park tube station caught my eye. The black and white tiles in their random pattern seemed to personify contemporary life as we know it today. I brought that vision back and created Topstitch Tiled Wall Art. D-rings are affixed to the back of the mirror so it is ready to hang right out of the box.

The Work Day is my post modern tribute to everyone's day at work and how it effects each of us differently but the same. I took texture and simple geometric shapes and layered each with various paints and gesso material to create a connected flow. The blending of all this started me thinking about each shape being co-workers different but connected within the workplace.
