This switch is really nice and a must-have if you purchase the Panasonic WhisperWarm exhaust, heat, and light fixture. I purchased both of these for a client and she was so in love with both of them, she asked me to purchase another set for her other bathroom. I was trying to save some time and money and picked up a standard 3 switch at a big box store for the second bathroom, thinking there wouldn't really be a big difference. She totally called me on it and asked what was wrong with the second switch and fixture. It didn't have a dimmer on it as this one does--which is designed to go with the fixture. I ended up having the first switch replaced with this one. Moral of the story--just purchase both together, you will be much happier with the outcome and your fixture will work as it is designed to do with the right switch.. Antoinette. Little Rock, AR. This switch works great. Having 3 kids the exhausted fan was never turned on when they showered, but this takes the guesswork out of it. The switch senses when the humidity is high and automatically turns on and then will turn off when it it decreases to an acceptable level (typically 20 minutes or so after a shower).
