A bit of a challenge to install alone, but love the look! The look is a "5-star look", but the installation challenges resulted in a down-rate to 4 stars. The light is quite heavy...about 20 pounds so need to make sure the electrical box is firmly mounted. The arms of the bracket for attaching the light to the electrical box are not long enough to attach to the ceiling for added support. I purchased some 0.75" wide by 1/8" thick metal bar at the local "big box" home/hardware and cut and drilled extensions that I attached to the supplied bracket and screwed to the ceiling with wall anchors. I then created a mini-hoist to hold the fixture up to the electrical box while connecting the wires and while guiding the studs on the bracket through the holes on the upper plate and screwing down the four chrome lock nuts. The upper plate was shipped well protected with Nitto Fiberguard. However, removing it to expose the chrome finish on the upper plate was a real challenge until I found some loose edges near each of the what appeared to be laser drilled holes and was able to remove the protective film. The light from the glass spheres is not a uniform color it tends to cast spots of yellow on the table top under it. Hazmarty. Solomons, MD. Sun Feb 09 2020
