Beautiful rug exactly as described. I purchased two. Have rich, vibrant tones of red and gold. The pile is thick and very good dense, hand woven in content - much like a Kazak or Tabriz. As an aside, Perigold was very customer friendly and orientated. These were not my first choice. I purchased two other rugs, but the colors did not work with my decor.
