The table is not just a regular table, but a statement piece. I have 4 chairs around it, however 6 can definitely work. I always place a piece of glass on top for an even more sophisticated look. As others have stated the set is beautiful, loved how it transformed my space. We are putting a clear glass top over it to preserve the look. Delivery was okay we opted not to have them setup as my husband and I were at work.
