This is a hanging lamp fixture. I have an old home we are remodeling. New wiring is going in now. My son advised to wait for installation due to the weight of this light fixture. Serenity is a beautiful, large chandelier in a traditional Victorian style, featuring detailed stained glass shades. This fixture would be perfect in a living room, dining room, and foyer. The shades are hand-crafted, using the same methods developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s. This process entails using 162 hand-cut stained art glass pieces and 21 glass beads per shade, each wrapped in fine copper foil and soldered together at extremely high temperatures to form each unique piece. The exact size to the nearest inch may vary, and the exact color of each glass piece may vary due to each piece being hand-crafted. The first image is with the light shining through, and the second image is with no light. Dry-listed and recommended for an indoor setting.

The chandelier itself is very striking and it is absolutely stunning when the lights are on. The Tiffany glass globes glow like jewels. The chandelier was packaged well and arrived on time. Only a diagram and parts list were included in the package. Definitely not the ideal situation for a novice DIYer. I chose to leave the chains off and am happy with the decision. We installed a dimmer switch because the five light chandelier gives off more than ample light for our dining table that seats six people.
