I ordered this to donate to the foster program at our local shelter. Foster families can always use enclosures to comfortably confine litters during puppy/kitten season. This one looks like it would be great for mothers & kittens during their first 6 weeks. Small breed dogs too. All the parts look good, and the enclosure should be fairly easy to construct with the provided hardware (I haven't put it together yet as it's a gift). Being able to store some supplies right on top is a big plus. Looks good to go, and I'll be happy to donate it. :) **Put it together after all, and I want to say again - young kittens and small breed puppies. It's plenty sturdy for them, but older kittens will climb right out, and larger puppies rough-housing will be able to push it around. This would be nice to set up in a communal area if you have other animals. Mothers can feel protected from them in the enclosed area, while curious babies have a protected area to roam. Plenty of room for beds, litter boxes, etc.. It's a little hard to pull apart between uses, but it all fits into a fairly small box for storage. ** I don't think I recieved a door latch?? Can't be sure in case one of my cats knocked it off the table when I was photographing parts and lost it somewhere playing with it, but I should have found it by now.... Carole. Grants Pass, OR.
