I really LOVE this TV stand! It's one of my favorite furniture purchases. This is a very nice piece of furniture. It arrives in pieces in a very heavy box and when you unwrap it looks a little intimidating to construct. The reality is it was very easy to do. The instructions were so very clear and every single thing is numbered and labeled for easy identification ( they also supply extra parts). All you need is a phillips head screwdriver and about 45 mins of your time and you will be done. The drawers glide very smoothly and the extension just sits on top and is easy to adjust. This is a very nice Tv stand made well was not hard to put together. Lots of storage space. The way our Living room is set up the only wall the TV could be hung on was over the fireplace and that would have been too high. So, this stand is just what we needed for our 70" TV. I love the plug in and charging station feature on the top very convenient. The only bad thing is the light feature. It is as if it were an afterthought by the manufacture. They are small light strips that attach to magnets that are stuck on the inside top of the cabinets. They have to be charged and then manually turned on no remote control. This is a beautiful piece of furniture for my living room. The fireplace is very nice and can heat or just be turned on for ambiance, there is a really cool brick background which makes it look even nicer than expected.
