I used this to replace a set of tub and shower controls that I had installed back in the 80s. I read one of the of the reviews that stated that a single nut was not sufficient in holding the plate in place. What I found is that it is certainly sufficient to do so when tightened properly as long as the plumbing and the controls are well anchored into the wall. Pretty and wish it would have worked for our shower remodel. The size of the cover is exactly what we needed to cover the pre existing holes, but it was so large that it hit the tub faucet. Sadly we had to return.. Laurin. Vernal, UT. Thu Jun 13 2024
