perfect place set for smaller spaces! it took about two days to put it together at a very leisurely pace. I would say it would probably take about 8 to 10 hours to do it all in one go. I was able to put it together myself, with the exception of one step. there are a total of 35 steps. All of the wood and the hardware is clearly marked and labeled. The hardware is packaged in individual bags for every step and it comes with a big bag of spare parts. The wood seems to be of good quality. I didn’t see any cracks or splits in any of the wood. I would say at the end of every season it probably would be a good idea to seal the wood so that it lasts longer. the price was very fair compared to similar playsets. Everything, including the monkey bars, is at a good height for smaller children and I'm not afraid of them falling or getting hurt. I'm 5 foot tall and can easily reach the top. Love this swing set! Shipped so quickly and arrived the day after that I ordered it. Was not missing any parts and assembly took about 1-1.5 hours with one person doing it. The frame and swings are sturdy and feel like great quality. I’ve used it with my 8 year old and it fit both of us comfortably and felt safe. I did order separate ground heavy duty trampoline stakes from , as the stakes that were included didn’t seem strong enough for my yard (lots of big trees and roots). My child loves this set!. Krista. So far I am pretty happy with it. It came 1 week quicker than expected. It comes in 2 very long and heavy boxes and 1 slide. I highly recommend laying out and organizing all the parts ahead of time to save time. I built the steps and rock wall in 1 hour and I am having a friend come to help with the fort.i anticipate this part may take 5 or 6 hours max. I also plan to seal it to help prolong the life in upstate NY winters. Should hopefully be years of fun for my 1 year old and 3 year old. Sorry dad you are too bigheavy to enjoy! Max is 150lbs..
