We wanted to create the small patio into an area of comfort and relaxation. The fountain completed our dream. The fountain has a calming trinkle and the color of the slate draw your eyes to it's beauty. The assembly was easy and everything was together and being enjoyed within an afternoon. We didn't realize the light had a separate cord with a switch, so ensure you plan for this when deciding where you want to place the fountain. To hide extra cord length I used command strips and attached the cord and light switch to the back of the fountain. It was an easy fix that I am glad I used. Also, the directions tell you to have support for the back of the fountain (the slate is heavy and could be blown over with high winds). We have ours against a fence so this wasn't an issue but I feel that it is important to know before buying this. Although we planned for this area to be for extra seating, with the beauty and sound of the fountain, it has become our favorite place to relax after work, or entertain guests.
