I loved the look of this simple small piece. Unfortunately, the maker drilled holes that didn't match up with the joints, and it was a nightmare putting it together. The shelf doesn't lay down flat and the piece is askew. Wayfair customer service made this purchase doable, went above and beyond in helping to fix the problem and took care of me. Admittedly, we just put this bench in the corner of our back entry by the door so I can’t comment on the durability. It came fully assembled. It is very lightweight so I hope that doesn’t indicate poor quality. I was concerned about pairing it with the matching coat rackshelf as I thought it would be too matchy, but I think they pair well together. The handles on the doors swivel and are not locked in place (if you were wondering). I’m happy with the look but it is an expensive piece for how lightweight it is.
