The rocking chair looks as it is advertised and has a good rocking ability. The back provides head support for someone 5 foot 9 inches and can probably support someone a little taller. The seat is deep which is good for taller users as well; however, not as great for shorter users (including myself at 5 foot 3 inches). At 5 foot, 3 inches, I find that I can either have neck support or lower back support at one time, which is okay and can be fixed with a small throw pillow in order to get support in both areas at one time; at this night I also have a hard time pushing off the floor to rock the chair, which was expected as I experience this with almost every rocking chair.
