First let me say this vase is very beautiful well crafted and worth every penny. I will definitely say that if you have curious toddlers or rambunctious dogs I would not use as a floor vase it is not sturdy enough and it most likely will tip over but it looks just as lovely as a centerpiece, on dining table, bedroom dresser or bathroom countettop it's that versatile.
