I was a bit nervous buying this as it is unusual and not inexpensive. It did not disappoint. The fixture adds just the right amount of contemporary to a traditional room and movement in a room with panelling that needed to be softened up. My client didn't want "his father's light fixture" and this hit the sweet spot of different but not absurd. The gold paint is a lovely hue as well. My only complaint is I'm not crazy about LED's (not sure how you would have lit this otherwise) but put it on a dimmer and you'll be pleased.. Gretel. Washington, Dc. Wed Nov 01 2017
