This was the only vent cap that I could find with 6" round ducting, for use with my Air Exchanger input. Although it worked, with some difficulty and modification, I wish it were made of plastic instead of heavy duty aluminum. But, like I said, it was the only one that I could find, so I'm glad I found it.. Todd. Fargo, ND. Tue Apr 26 2022

The Premium Side Universal Wall Cap from BuildersBest is a durable surface mount wall cap that is ideal for the bathroom, range hood or dryer vents. The removable screen is made for a dryer vent application. The seamless design maximizes water protection, and a spring-loaded damper reduces wind flapping.

I haven’t installed this because it turned out to not fit my application but this is a decently built piece. Sturdy spring. Feel frame around the anchor points, etc. Pretty much what I need but too small.. Anthony. TX. Sat Apr 17 2021
