This Pilaster Plinth base is part of our Massive Pilaster Collection. It can be combined with its matching Pilaster and Capitals for a beautiful look. Pilasters are shallow decorative pillars attached to a wall and treated architecturally as a column with a base, shaft and Capital. Pilasters are wide used to give the appearance of a supporting column but for ornamental purposes.

Our beautiful panel molding and corners add a decorative, historic, feel to walls, ceilings, and furniture pieces. They are made from a high-density urethane which gives each piece unique details that mimic that of traditional plaster and wood designs but at a fraction of the weight. This means a simple and easy installation for you. The best part is you can make your shapes and sizes by simply cutting the molding piece down to size, and then butting them up to the decorative corners. These are also commonly used for an inexpensive wainscot look.

In general it is as expected, however, and probably my bad for not reading more, but there was just a foam back, with no hanging hardware. I realized belatedly it is an architectural molding, not a cute shelf.. Vivian. Orlando, FL. Thu Jan 29 2026
