For a luxury update, combine several beams together for a stunning grid pattern or custom truss. Cloak support beams, by covering them up with faux wood beams for an instant warm and luxurious look. With endless width, depth, and height combinations; there is a beam to fit every project need. Save time and money with faux beams, because they do not require extensive labor and expertise, or expensive equipment to install. Our beams can be easily installed as a DIY project with standard tools and hardware. Plus, they are virtually maintenance-free. To enhance the overall authenticity, Ekena Millwork offers optional rubber beam strapping to replicate the look of the heavy, forged wrought iron fastening hardware.
The beam is beautiful but it really doesn’t look like a wood finish. It looks like a solid paint color which is not what I wanted. I will be attempting to add some creative staining which is what I didn’t want to do due to timing of gettting this beam for my contractor to install. I hope I can make this thing look real..
