Per my carpenter, these were convenient, but required a tremendous of finesse and adjustments at every miter joint to look right. Quality glue (PL Premium) and a solid substrate that will not move (a grid of 1x3's glued and screwed to ceiling joists) are essential for stability. Overall "a wash" in terms of time and expense compared to having full boxes and mouldings constructed the old fashioned way. For the curved bay windows straight pieces needed to be hollowed out, bent, and carefully glued and tacked in place under high tension. I’m very happy with the wall molding set overall. The pieces are beautiful, well made, and really helped give my walls an elegant, finished look. The quality was good and final result turned out great. I’m giving it 4 stars only because there was a slight mismatch in height between the main molding pieces and the corner pieces, which made installation a little more challenging. Crown molding has the ability to add beauty to any room. The dentil design on this one is a nice feature. The benefit of foam (EPS) crown molding is that it does not shrink. Cuts easily with a miter saw or fine-tooth blade.
