This table is not substantial in size or construction, but it fits our needs fine. We bought it to fit in a small nook in our kitchen, and it seats two comfortably. I like that it is solid wood, and the warm color is lovely. We have had it about a year, and I have needed to tighten the screws a couple of times as they loosen just a bit from every day use. The finish has held up nicely. I regularly wipe it with a damp cloth and use Pledge furniture polish on it as well. You definitely need to use a coaster if planning to set beverages on this table..
