Works well but can stain, and requires cleaning once a week. Can set heavy pan on them while cook top is off.. James. Plano, TX. Sat Jun 20 2026

The Simmer Plate accessory can be used as a heat diffuser on ILVE burners. This accessory is perfect for those who like to cook delicate dishes that need a slow, low heat as the simmer plate evenly distributes heat under the pan. The cast iron Simmer Plate also helps to stop food sticking to the bottom of the pan and simply sits on top of the ILVE burner of your choice.

Glass cooktops use a thermal limiter switch to protect against overheating by shutting down power to the element should it become too hot. When the limiter on these elements fails it will usually totally prevent the element from heating and the element needs to be replaced. If this is happening to your glass cooktop, the dual radiant heat element is an exact replacement for the Electrolux part with the same number.

The product arrived in a timely fashion. I installed it and it works so that's all that I can ask for. My only knock is that I think these things are over-priced. But all and all, a good purchase experience.. Anonymous. Tue May 03 2022
