I absolutely love the look of this sideboard. The wood tone and woven door fronts give it a high-end, modern organic feel that looks much more expensive than it is.
Assembly is definitely easier with two people. It’s more involved than many flat-pack furniture pieces, but if you take your time, the end result is well worth the effort. Working mostly by myself I was able to assemble the cabinet in about three hours.
My only suggestion is regarding the cabinet door installation. The instructions have you attach the hinges to the doors first and then install the doors after the cabinet is fully assembled. We found it much easier to install the hinge hardware on the cabinet frame before putting the top on, then attach the doors as the final step. It’s still a little fiddly, but it saves you from trying to drive tiny screws into a cramped, dark space once everything is assembled.
