Vintage brass Chipati boxes could be placed in ovens to keep the Indian staple warm before mealtime.

I had order a beautiful cactus themed clay bowl from Studio A before and it was/is awesome, but this was a little on the less high end side. The craftsmanship was a little lacking in the closing mechanism and there were some scratches on the back that didn't add character; they were just scratches. I didn't return it because of the hassle and because Wayfair has been good to me over the years on returns, and it looks nice on the shelf, but closer inspection would show the flaws.. Kimberly. I really like the overall design of the decorative boxes—the patterns are beautiful, and the construction feels sturdy and well made. However, the quality of the pattern painting was disappointing. This is especially noticeable on the large box, where the white paint appears uneven and the edges are chipped. With more attention to the finishing details, these boxes would be excellent.. Mercy.
