A Veslana marble base braces antique brass finished concave disks in the Taal bookends. These bookends gained their namesake from small finger cymbals originating in the Indian subcontinent commonly used in music and performing arts. These whimsical bookends are functional and ornamental, making them an optimal addition to any bookshelf, side table, or console table.

The patina of antique ivory is dramatically carved as symbols of clouds and water which we cast in our bases of the Dragon bookends. The design suggestion we have is to use the dragons as small sculptures or as a pair framing your collected books.

Intricately detailed pieces, average weight.i have heavy books so expected them to be a bit heavier but works for me. Minni. San Jose, CA. Thu Oct 01 2020

Bolster your book collection with this 2-piece set of bookends, designed to mimic the look of a suspension bridge. Brimming with industrial style and a distressed look, this set shows off two arched metal towers on each side with wire slats creating vertical suspenders. An antique brown hue highlights the material and creates a rustic look we love on any office shelf or living room mantelpiece. Plus, the bases are outfitted with non-skid material to keep them firmly in place as they prop up your movies or novels.

Lighter than expected, but supports my books well, adds an intriguing touch to the top of my nightstand, and simply works. Best for only a few books, and nothing too heavy.. James. Wed Sep 02 2026

Antique gold leaf resin on a clear acrylic base.

I love them, but one came unattached to the acrylic base! I went through many tries to return it, to no avail. I kept filling out the forms sent me, and they kept sending me to a virtual assistant that couldn’t help me!!! It is very frustrating! Originally l thought one could be returned and get a replacement, but now all I want to do is send the whole thing back!!!!!!! I have been trying to attach pictures which it finally allowed me , but there was a glitch in the system!! It is very frustrating and I am wasting an enormous amount of time!!!. Mary Jane.
