We needed an electric cooktop to replace a gas one in the newer home we recently purchased, and this was the only one that fit the space. It heats up very quickly, cooks well and cleans up easily. Controls are simple to use. Other comments about the warning lights of a hot burner not being able to be seen easily are valid. My only complaint would be close spacing of the burners sometimes complicates cooking when using multiple pots and pans simultaneously.
