Shady ..the good kind. We had two sails to compare, the material of this one is heavier intertwined and double stitched which I am hoping to last better. The hardware came with it which is a plus but it’s smaller than the kind you can purchase by itself on Wayfair. (I took a pic to compare. )As for keeping it tight, you need the additional hardware they recommended which I took a picture of them from their instruction manual.. Mckay. American Fork, UT.
