Fire-breathing dragon in color spreads its wings in this sculpture, making a charming addition to any home. Mexican couple artisan celebrate the artistic traditions of their country, crafting the dragon from copal wood and maguey plant fibers in the style of sculptures, adding beautiful hand-painted motifs.

Iguanas are creatures of the sun, so when they decorated this alebrije they thought of the sun welcoming the rainbow, confide Zeny and Reyna. Carved from a single piece of copal wood, the sculpture is painted by hand using the tip of a maguey leaf.

Angel Cerón depicts the itzcuintli, a cheerful, barkless species prized by ancient man. Sculpted in clay as funerary offerings, they accompanied their masters in death to aid the soul in crossing rivers of blood along the road of the dead.
