Very soft. It’s more blue in person than I thought it would be, which is why I’m giving 4 stars. Luckily it still complements our room well. All three rugs are just beautiful. I put them down and they flattened out within a couple of days. I have a concern about the 5x7 the fringe on the left side is not tacked on the back of the rug so it doesn’t lay flat on that corner.
