Great lighting . These will work with Alexa and change color or sim or you can choose the mod you want to set. We have them all over the house and are happy that we can dim them down by just telling Alexa to set them at a certain percent. Our recommendation is to use it on a standard table or floor lamp with a shade. This is an A19-shaped bulb. They have a frost finish for a more diffused lighting effect. 

Totally worth it! No more worrying about making sure the bulbs have been shut off or on... These bulbs work as a set. I used them on my front porch (which is covered). I created a dusk til sunrise low dim setting. I like that they are dimmable and you can operate them from the app which is totally customizable. You can create any schedule needed. The app even has a function that will turn on the lights slowly when you’re waking up in the morning.
