This table was easy to assemble. We left it upside down in the box until it was time to flip it over, it made it easier for install. The slide to put the leaf in is really smooth and easy to open. There was a little damage under the table but nothing too bad. It clips securely in place once the leaf is in. The only issue we had was figuring out how the leaf is self storing, we still cant figure it out. We even emailed customer service. So be prepared to store the leaf.
