Bought this in December we are now in February. It has a crack that goes all the way through to the bottom. I did notice what I thought was a defect in the wood but it developed into a crack. Wayfair will not do anything to help since it the return was only good for 30 days. Taught me a good lesson buy the insurance!! Update: Wayfair ended up working with me and sent a replacement, one year later another crack has developed. Also, the wood is super soft and scratches and dents easily.. Loryn. Federal Way, WA. Love this coffee table and that it has three drawers for storage. It’s very well made and looks exactly as described. It came very well packaged and was easy to assemble. Just had to add four legs and lower shelf. Drawers were fully assembled and just had to slide them in. The three drawers slide from either side of coffee table. Initial shipment was received damaged but Wayfair sent out a replacement right away which was received in good condition. Packing seems a little inadequate to prevent damage.
