Easy to follow instructions. Took maybe an hour to assemble. Sturdy. I didn’t fasten to the wall. The back is open but it has a piece to brace the frame and make it more sturdy. I only added the separator to the one of the doors so. For reference, top pairs are women size 7.5 and kid’s size 1. The bottom is men size 10.5 and 11. It will only fit my husband’s size 13 without the separator and put them in sideways. We will just his shoes underneath. Very pretty. I’m happy I purchased it. My only complaint is about the top drawer. I wish it had guides or bearings to help it slide in and out. Not a deal breaker for me. Still worth the money, to me. My husband loved it!. Mpkrph. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these. I spent so much time looking at the marketing photos trying to determine if the curved shape would be uncomfortable - but they are amazingly comfy. They were packed well, and the video showing how to put it together could not have made it simpler. The instructions say it takes 2 people but I'm 71 years old and put each together is 10-15 minutes without any issue. I’ve had this for about a year. It is well made and very attractive. Only problem is that the two drawers are slightly uneven, so there’s an uneven space between them (pictured). We really liked the look of this tall rattan cabinet right away. It has a nice aesthetic and fits well with our space, and overall it wasn’t too difficult to put together compared to some other furniture we’ve assembled. The biggest challenge during assembly was getting the doors properly aligned. That part took the most time and patience, but once adjusted, it looked good and functioned as expected. The main downside for us is the drawer design. They don’t pull out very far, which makes them less practical than we hoped. Reaching items toward the back is a bit of a pain and ends up being the most frustrating part of using it day to day.
