When they set this table up in my formal dining room I was horrified. It looked like something that came out of my potting shed. The description didn't mention that it was a rough rustic finish. On top of that it probably was dirty from sitting in the warehouse. However I wiped it down and put on a couple of coats of polyurethane and it now looks more elegant.
