This is a solid wood table. Very sturdy. I would have liked to stain it however I had to use paint to match existing stools better. It was tough for me to put this together -the collars atop the pedestal must have the metal properly positioned (at the top) to grab the long screw from above. Once I figured this out it was very secure. I painted each piece separately after a light sanding and wax cloth wipe. Then I assembled the table. Beautiful!. Gretchen. Casco, ME. Mon Sep 22 2025

I haven't put it together yet, but today unboxed it, conditioned the wood and stained the table. The packaging is fantastic, and the wood is in great shape and feels solid. It's delivered in a few boxes. There were a couple of very small spots that wouldn't accept stain, but overall the quality of the table is great.
