What a beautiful glass bottle this is! I was in need of a new cooking oil dispenser and was having a difficult time finding the right look for my kitchen. This is a very pretty glass oil cruet by Ten Strawberry Street. It is a lovely textured green glass and is a great size. It is perfect for any oil or even a flavored syrup for coffee. I use mine for olive oil since it is a darker glass. It has a removable pour top which is convenient for washing it out. The only drawback is my metal top to the pour top does not close properly. I bought this oil and vinegar dispenser set because I was pouring these condiments directly out of the bottles they came in, thus using too much oil and vinegar. I really like these bottles and made the right choice as I use less oil and vinegar. This set comes with a funnel which makes it easy to pour oil and vinegar in the dispensers. This sophisticated little object consists of a green glass container with a pouring spout. The latter is made of 18/10 stainless steel with a polished finish and is completed with a special polypropylene seal. The container is for oil tasting and the pourer can be used on a bottle of oil. Once the bottle is empty, the cap can be put back on the container until it is to be used once again. The glass container, designed to aid in the oil-tasting process, is colored to prevent the oil's appearance from influencing how it is assessed. The color green was chosen to suggest the first press oil. Its shape tapers as it moves towards the mouth of the glass so that the aroma of the oil wafts towards the taster's nose. Poetic and refined, Fior D'Olio is reminiscent of the stem of a freshly picked olive; a hole found inside the leaf allows air to pass through and this allows the oil to pour out.
